Mountain Golf
The spectacular landscape of the Great Smoky Mountains has been luring visitors to Western North Carolina for generations. And now it's luring golfers.

The Smoky Mountain Country Club -- ten minutes east of Bryson City -- offers an enjoyable and unforgettable golfing experience for players of all skill levels. In contrast to many area golf courses, which are actually mountain valley courses, Smoky Mountain Country Club is a true mountain course with almost 400 feet of elevation change from the valley floor to mountain tees. Tee shots soar off mountaintops and appear to stay in the air forever.

5,000-foot mountain peaks provide a spectacular backdrop for every vista along the 18-hole, 5982-yard par 71 course, with its bluegrass fairways, bermuda tees, and bent grass greens. The Smoky Mountain Country Club and Pro Shop is open year round.
